ReplyDeleteTeen Car Crashes Raises Suspicion
ReplyDeleteEarly Friday morning, three teenagers were killed in a car crash on Hwy 140. The car went off the road, rolled and hit a juniper tree. The sheriff then released a statement claiming that he believed alcohol was involved.
The three teens were still in High School, except for Robert Smith, 16, who dropped out of Henley just a week before the accident. Jason Hobbs, 17, was letter winning wrestler at his school. He was ejected from the vehicle on impact. The third boy’s name has not been release as of yet.

Investigation brought the police to The Viper Room where the manager just fired an employee very close to the incident. As it turns out, this employee, Bobbi Sue Jones age 23, had served the boys alcoholic drinks while they were at the club. Manager Geoff Piney maintained that the club has a strict ID policy. Bobbi Sue Jones was arrested, but released on a $50,000 bail.
The boy’s school has taken the incident to heart. Students affected are now being offered counseling by the school. “We are deeply saddened by their deaths.” says the Principal. The students have been visiting the crash site often and leaving flowers. Henley High hopes to walk away from the tragedy more aware of the dangers of teen drinking.

Highway to Hell, With a Stop to The Viper Room
Early Friday morning, near Keno, on Highway 140, three teens were killed in a car accident. All three of the kids in the car were students at Henley High School: Jason Hobbs, 17; Robert Smith, 16; and the third teen’s identity has not been released due to the fact that his parents are in Alaska.
They were in a 1988 Honda Accord and the car rolled over and hit a juniper tree. They were found by a trucker who said, “There was just a ball of flame. Bobbi Sue, 23, has been a waitress at The Viper Room for 3 years. The Viper Room being right off Highway 140 was the main target for the cops to investigate. It is alleged that Bobbi Sue had served the boys alcohol that night while they were at the club. The waitress was arrested and released on a $50,000 bond.
Jason Hobbs was a well-liked wrestling letter winner, and was ejected from the vehicle in the accident. Robert Smith, had dropped out of school the week before. Students at Henley had been visiting the crash site and leaving flowers, and the principle has offered counseling for students.

Waitress Kills Three Teens For Tips
ReplyDeleteThis Friday morning three teens have been pronounced dead at the scene of a brutal car accident. The crash was on Highway 140 near Keno and involved the car rolling over and hitting a juniper tree and involved only one car. One of the teens Jason Hobbs age 17 was ejected from the vehicle, Robert Smith also known as Bobbi age 16 was killed, the third teen’s identity was not released as his parents were out of town and not informed yet.
Authorities are saying this was not a freak accident. A medical examiner insured that this was an alcohol related death. All three involved were under the drinking age but were all found with high levels of alcohol in their system. After some digging it was found that the kids were coming back from The Viper Room, a local establishment which sells alcohol. The kids were waited on by Bobbi Sue Jones age 23, who after an internal investigation has been found to have served the kids alcoholic drinks. Not just a glass of wine but enough to put all three over the law of .08 alcohol content while driving. She was serving the kids alcohol because she was expecting higher tips if she served minors alcohol and played the “cool” waiter.
Geoff Pinney the manager at The Viper room stated that “we have a very strict policy on checking ID’s and you can be sure that this waitress was immediately fired and you can insure she will not wait another table in this town ever again.” This was far from the end of Bobbi Sue Jones punishment however. She was charged with soliciting alcohol to minors and three counts of manslaughter. Bobbi Sue Jones has not yet made a statement and she is currently held at the county jail on $50,000 bond.
That horrific morning woke up the entire morning with the sirens and screaming. One local neighbor to the crash said “I jumped out of bed when I heard the sirens. A trucker discovered the crash first along Highway 140 and called 911. “There was just a ball of flame. I could hear screaming, but I couldn’t get near the vehicle.” The trucker stated.
This accident has left the community shattered. Two of the boys were still attending Henley High and were very popular and well liked kids. Many students have been visiting the crash site and making a shrine out of flowers and pictures. “We are deeply saddened by their deaths” said the principle of Henley High.
In a tragedy like this it remind us to stay close to our loved ones and try to talk to them about how accidents like this are very possible. When you enter a car drunk you are putting yourself, the occupants of the car, and everyone within the cars reach in grave danger. Furthermore you are potentially crushing an entire community. Bobbi Sue Jones murdered three young boys that night and injured many more. May the three children rest in peace, and may their families wounds heal.

Alcohol Consumption Leads 3 Teens to Their Death
ReplyDeleteYesterday evening the Sheriff issued a statement that he suspected alcohol was involved in this horrific crash. It was quite a scene. Three troubled teens rolled with their car and hit a juniper tree late Tuesday night. Robert Smith, Jason Hobbs, and another boy whose name has not yet been released were said to have been served alcohol illegally prior to the accident.
Witnesses say they saw the boys exiting a Club on Staple Street. “We didn’t realize they had been served anything. My wife and I live across the street. Young boys often approach such places for the fun of it. We figured the club manager had asked them to leave,” says one witness. Waitress Bobbi Sue Jones was on the shift that night. She serves drinks at The Viper Room of the club. “I swear I didn’t know they were minors. I’ve been a waitress for the last 3 years, this has never happened before. This could cost me my job.”
Sure enough the manager, Geoff Pinney fired the waitress. “I have strict policies. All ids are checked. I don’t know how this happened but rest assures it won’t happen again.” The waitress was arrested and released on a $50,000 bond. Her boyfriend bailed her out.

The three teens left the viper club early Friday morning after being intoxicated by a waitress without checking for IDs. The waitress, Bobbi Sue Jones was fired on Saturday from her waitressing job for serving the 3 young teens alcohol. She was also arrested and released on a $50,000 bond.

Waitress Illegally Serving Alcohol Kills Three Minors
ReplyDeleteEarly Friday morning residents near Hwy 140, near Keno, woke up to the sounds of fire truck sirens and a ball of fire. “I jumped out of bed when I heard the sirens,” one near by resident said. Three teenagers had been involved in a fatal car accident killing all three passengers. The car veered of the road rolled over and hit a near by juniper tree. The sheriff suspects that alcohol was involved and could be the reason for this accident.
The car was a 1988 Honda Accord which was blue with yellow pin striping. A trucker that was enroute moving furniture from Medford to Klamath happened upon the tragic car as the teenagers were being engulfed by flames. “There was just a ball of flame. I could hear screaming, but I couldn’t get near the vehicle.” the trucker explained. Turns out that one of the teenagers, Jason Hobbs age 17, was ejected from the car while it rolled over. Two of the three teenagers were still attending high school; Robert Smith, age 16, had dropped out of school just a week before the accident.
Robert Smith, also known as Bobbi, had two silblings, Kathy and Katie. The other teenager’s identity has not been released yet because his parents live in Alaska. Turns out the three teenagers had been at a club, The Viper Room, Thursday night and had been drinking. They were given drinks by waitress Bobbi Sue Jones, age 23. The manger says that the club has a policy to check all id’s before serving. Clearly this was not the case Thursday night. Jones had been waitressing at the Viper Room for three years. Jones was alleged for serving the teens drinks. The manager fired Jones Saturday morning. Jones was also arrested and released on a fifty thousand dollar bond. The laziness of Jones not checking id’s may be the main cause for the fatal accident of these teens.
“We are deeply saddened by their deaths,” says the principal of the teens High school. The School has offered counseling for any students taking the tragedy rough. The failure of the waitress to id the teenagers cost them their lives.

Catastrophe in Keno
Early Friday morning, tragedy struck. Three boys driving home from The Viper Room, a nearby club, were killed on Highway 140, near Keno.
A trucker who was driving behind the boys’ car described the scene. “There was just a ball of flame,” he said. “I could hear screaming but I couldn’t get near the vehicle.” Fire trucks arrived on the scene soon after, but were unable to save the boys. Only two identities have been released, Jason Hobbs and Robert Smith, both from a nearby high school in Keno. The third boy’s identity is still to be released because his parents are in Alaska. All three boys are suspected of driving home drunk from the club. With alcohol in their systems, the ongoing roadwork in the same area was most likely the cause of the crash.
Hobbs, 17 and Smith, 16 were both underage boys, which has raised concerns about the ethics at The Viper Room. The manager at the club has stated that the club does have a policy to check all ID’s, and that the waitress who served the boys the drinks has been fired. The waitress, Bobbi Sue Jones, has worked at The Viper Room for over three years and is now facing charges. She was arrested and released on a $50,000 bond.
This accident has made the effects of drunk driving real to every student in Keno. The principal said, “We are deeply saddened by their deaths,” and stated that counseling is being offered to students. Jason Hobbs was a well-liked wrestler, and many people knew all of the boys. Students from the school have been seen visiting the crash sight and leaving flowers for the boys. This tragedy has shaken this town and will hopefully change how young people view driving while drunk. Most teens do not understand how dangerous it is to drive drunk, and although this accident is a disaster, it will hopefully be a wake up call as well.

Tragedy in Keno
Early Friday morning three teens were killed on Highway 140 near Keno. Jason Hobbs, 17, and Robert Smith, also known as Bobbi, 16, and a third unnamed victim were pronounced dead on scene. They were found by a trucker who was driving behind them when the accident occurred. He described the scene and said, “There was just a ball of flame. I could hear screaming, but I couldn’t get near the vehicle.” The cause of the accident is still unknown at this point; however alcohol and road works are thought to be involved. Fire trucks arrived on the scene to find the 1988 Honda Accord, upside down, against the tree and on fire. Jason Hobbs was ejected from the vehicle, while the other two teens were trapped inside. Unfortunately they were not able to get to the teens on time.
The teens were allegedly at The Viper Room before the crash, where they may have been served alcohol and food. The waitress who possibly served the underage boys alcohol is Bobbi Sue, 23. The manager of the club, Geoff Pinney, states “We maintain a strict policy of checking all I.D.’s”. After working there for over three years, Sue was fired by Pinney on Saturday, the following morning. She was arrested and released on bond at $50,000, after the sheriff issued a statement that he suspected alcohol was involved.
This is a horrible tragedy that has affected the whole community, especially Henley high school where the three boys attended. Jason Hobbs was a well-liked wrestling letter winner, and even though Bob Smith dropped out of school the previous week, the school is shaken by this event. The principal states, “We are deeply saddened by their deaths. We will have counseling available for students at the school in the following week.” The school will also be establishing a program in memory for the boys, which will educate students on the effects of drinking and driving.
After the scene was cleaned up and the car was taken away, students, family and friends came to pay their respects, leaving flowers and letters beneath the tree. The boys will be greatly missed as their deaths are a huge loss to the community.
MORE DRUNK DRIVING!!!!
ReplyDeleteDrunk Driving is a fatal epidemic that continues to spread quickly despite combative endeavors. Another Example of such reckless behavior took place
early Friday morning on Highway 140. These formerly alive adolescents were leaving a club where they may have been drinking alcohol. This was confirmed by the Sherriff who, due to years of experience, implied that alcohol may have been involved. In addition, the style of the car crash,(the car rolled over and hit a juniper tree) was typical of that of an impaired driver. The destroyed car was a 1988 Honda Accord, presumably belonging to a parent of one of the teenagers.
The club, Viper Room is in a state of turmoil also. The waitress suspected of serving the kids alcohol, Bobbi Sue, was arrested and later released on a $50,000 bond.
One of the teens, Robert “Bobbi” Smith, a school dropout with two siblings, was 16. DRUNK DRIVING IS BAD!!!!!!!

One waitress has been taken into custody for questioning on allegedly serving the underage boys alcohol while at the local club in town at the night of the crash.
The manager’s only comment when asked was that they maintain a strict policy to check all the ids of customers. A local witness stated seeing “a ball of flames” and tried to help “but I couldn’t get near the vehicle” right after the crash happened. Three Students Found Dead In A Car Crash
ReplyDeleteOne early Friday morning a blue car with yellow pinstriping which happened to be a 1988 Honda Accord was found on Hwy 140 near keno by a trucker moving furniture from Medford to Klamath. It seems that the car rolled over and hit a juniper tree, and three teens were killed.
When the sheriff and fire trucks arrived and took at look at the accident the sheriff knew that there was construction going on, but suspected that there was alcohol involved. The sheriff asked the trucker what he saw, and he nervously said that “there was just a ball of flame, and screaming voices, but I just couldn’t get near the car.Due to the type of accident that it was they had to ask everyone who would have saw or known anything. So the fire trucks woke up the neighbors that lived near by the accident. One neighbor said “ I jumped right out of bed when I heard the sirens”. They also questioned waitress Bobbi Jones who has been working at Viper Room for 3 years because that was the most nearby place teens will go to get food and drinks. When Bobbi was questioned she seemed very guilty about something and law enforcement really didn’t know why. The manager Geoff Pinney was also there when the questioning went on and he mentioned that they have a policy to show all ID’s so there is no way that they have been served alcohol. Then he looked at the waitress and said did you give any of these young boys alcohol, she looked away and said “ no why would I do that they didn’t have ID”. That gave a red flag, and the waitress was alleged to have served the boys alcohol when they cam to the club. After that the manager had fired her the next day because he doesn’t need that kind of attention at his club.
The three teens were now identified, and they were:
-Jason Hobbs who was a well like wrestling letter winner
-Robert smith who was 16 and left behind 2 siblings, and great parents
Sadenly the third has not yet been identified because the parents are out on a trip
Students have been visiting the site from the boys school, and the principal has offered counseling to any of the students that need any kind of comfort. In closing the principal sends a message to the loved ones families and says “ We are deeply saddened by their deaths”

ReplyDeleteThree Teens Killed in Keno
ReplyDeleteThree teenagers were found dead early Friday morning on Highway 140 near Keno, after their 1988 Honda Accord allegedly rolled over and hit a juniper tree.
The Sheriff’s department has issued a statement that Robert Smith, 16, Jason Hobbs, 17, and a third undisclosed individual, were driving under the influence of alcohol. The alcohol in question was obtained and imbibed at The Viper Room, a club that claims to have a strictly enforced ID policy when it comes to serving booze. Waitress Bobbi Sue Jones, age 23, is being investigated for the alcoholic distribution to minors and was arrested and released with a $50,000 bond, in addition to being fired from her post on Saturday.
When describing the accident a witness stated, “There was just a ball of flame. I could hear screaming, but I couldn’t get near the vehicle”. Fire trucks responded promptly to handle the situation, the scene of which was located in the midst of a highway construction zone.
To deal with the aftermath of the crash, grief counselors have been readily available to work with students at Henley High, and a small memorial shrine has been created by students at the site of the crash. “We are deeply saddened by their deaths,” the principal stated.
Car Ride of Fate
ReplyDeleteAfter a not so innocent night at the club, three Henley students were killed early Friday morning on Hwy 140 near the town of Keno.
Reports state that the blue and yellow pinstriped 1988 Honda Accord rolled over and hit a juniper tree which caused death upon impact. This unfortunate tale was first discovered by a truck driver who was in route to delivering furniture from Medford to Klamath. “…There was just a ball of flame. I could hear screaming, but I couldn’t get near the vehicle.” The trucker stated. Upon receiving the police report it was noted that two of the three students involved were 16 to 17 years of age. However the third student’s name will be withheld because his parents are in Alaska.
Although this event has generated a major lost to the community, one can only ask what would cause such an accident? And what are these minors doing out into the wee hours of the morning? In order to answer these probing questions, one would have to go to the source; and that is The Viper Room from which this all began. It has been common knowledge that it is a club policy to check all ID’s. However on this fateful night this rule was obviously swept under the rug. Waitress Bobby Sue Jones (age 23) has been a waitress there for 3 years. Police reports state that the Sheriff himself suspected that there was alcohol involved. Since the night of the accident Jones has been arrested an released on a $50,000 bond.
In these students memory these teens leave behind popularity, wrestling titles, and even shame.

ReplyDeleteA Waitress’s Actions Lead to Teenage Deaths
ReplyDeleteIn a recent tragedy, a car containing three Henley high school teens had rolled over. This incident occurred early Friday morning on Highway 140 near Keno. The information released was that three of the teens were killed in the order of the event. Jacob Hobbs and Robert Smith were two of the teens identified in the accident. The third teen had not been identified because his parents were in Alaska. Jason Hobbs was well- known by the students of Henley High School for his achievements.
A trucker was driving on the same highway when the incident occurred. He mentioned that he was on his way to Klamath from Medford because he was moving furniture and on his way he spotted something. The man said that he saw fire and became alert that something was wrong. In his exact words he stated, “There was just a ball of flame. I could hear screaming, but I couldn’t get near the vehicle.” The trucker said he made an emergency phone call to the police giving them information of what he had seen and the location. Fire trucks came to the scene shortly after the trucker had made the phone call. The loud sirens of the fire trucks had woken up any neighbors residing near the sight of the accident. The firemen took out the fire with their water hoses. Right when the fire diffused they rushed to the vehicle to help the victims escape. Unfortunately no one was found alive in the vehicle.
The facts behind the matter which led to the whole destruction are linked to a club called The Viper Room. Thursday night, the three victim teens showed up at this club. Bobbi Sue Jones, a 23-year old waitress who has worked at the club for 3 years had relation to the death of the boys. She serves food and drinks in this club. When a sheriff checked out the crime scene he suspected that alcohol was involved. So the question is if the victims in the accident were high school teens, then how did they get a hold of any alcohol at this club? Geoff Pinney, the manager of the club has a policy that pertained to anyone who came to the club. This policy included that all ID’s be checked. Being that Jones had worked there for 3 years, she would have known the policy well. On the Saturday following the day of the accident, the manager fired the waitress. The information concluded that Bobbi Sue Jones was responsible for the teen’s consumption of alcohol. She is alleged to have served them alcohol when they were in the club. The sheriff went to Jones’s home and arrested her. She was held in a local jail and brought to court the next day. After reviewing the case, the Judge committed her guilty and responsible of the teenagers deaths and she was released on a $50,000 bond.

Jason Hob, 17, Robert Smith also known as Bobbi, 16, and the third identity hasn’t been release since his parents were in Alaska during this incident. Hobbs who was ejected from the Honda accord was a beloved wrestling letter winner. Hobbs who dropped out of school a week before also left behind his two siblings Kathy and Katie “We are deeply saddened by their deaths” said the principal who is offering counseling for students. The tree students have been missed by their peers. Their classmates visit the crash scene and leave flowers to show their sympathy.
The sheriff suspected alcohol was involved therefore an investigation was upheld. The friends went to the viper room where a long time waitress of three years Bobbi Sue Jones, 23, served the food and drinks. The manager of the club, Geoff Pinney, stated that they have a policy to check all ids. The waitress was fired on Saturday by Pinney. Jones is arrested and on release on a $50,000 bond. Hopefully this is a lesson that the students at Henley High school had painfully learned what alcohol can lead to and hope it can be a lesson to other teens as well.
